In the Stillness of the Twilight Hour
Poem by Levi Sap Nei Thang
In the stillness of the twilight hour,
Where shadows with grace,
I solace in your kindness,
A balm for the wounds I embrace.
In every gentle act you bestow,
symphony of empathy unfolds,
Each word, a whispered melody,
That mends what time has untold.
Oh, how your silence speaks volumes,
As words fall short upon the page,
Your presence, a serene river,
In which my burdens find their stage.
Boundless is your patience,
A beacon in this tumultuous sea,
With open arms, you embrace me,
And cherish the flawed fragments of me.
Amidst the chaos of our lives,
I see your shattered heart arise,
For in your brokenness I find,
A love that transcends earthly ties.
Oh, how the light finds beauty,
In the cracks etched upon your soul,
For even in your shattered state,
You have stolen my heart, whole.
