Who Placed You, My Love, Within My Heart?
By Levi Sap Nei Thang
In the realm of celestial fire,
Where the sun burns with desire,
It was a force unseen, yet divine,
That placed the fiery orb to shine.
The moon, in its delicate grace,
Illuminating the night’s embrace,
A celestial dance in darkness they share,
Guided by a cosmic serenade’s flare.
But even the cosmos in their accord,
Bow to the power love has stored,
For when our paths converged as one,
It was destiny’s thread that had begun.
Who placed this world, both vast and wide,
With mountains, rivers, and oceans’ tide?
‘Tis the hand of creation, wondrous and grand,
Forming a tapestry in which we stand.
Yet, the question that echoes within my core,
Of heavens and earth, I search for more,
For amidst this vast cosmic art,
Who placed you, my love, within my heart?
It was not the hand of fate or chance,
But a feeling of love’s sweetest trance,
A connection sewn in ethereal seams,
A love that lingers in infinite dreams.
So, let the poets sing and the stories be told,
Of love’s tender grip that makes hearts unfold,
For in the vastness of life’s mysterious art,
You, my dear, are forever etched in my heart.
